The Gelber Muskateller Gamlitz 2024 from the Lackner Tinnacher winery is a sophisticated, aromatic white wine from the heart of Southern Styria DAC, captivating with its fruitiness, elegance, and varietal character. Grown in the sun-drenched vineyards around Gamlitz, on mineral soils and under the influence of a cool climate, this wine ideally showcases the grape variety's clear, fragrant, yet structured character.

After being hand-picked, the grapes remained on the skins for 18 hours to release the typical spicy aromas. Subsequently, spontaneous fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, where the wine matured on the fine lees for 8 months in the cellar. This gentle and natural aging process preserves freshness and adds depth and texture. With an alcohol content of 11.5% vol., the Muskateller is light and fragrant, yet surprisingly complex—a prime example of Southern Styrian aromatics.

The Gelber Muskateller 2024 opens with an inviting aroma of ripe vineyard peach, fresh mint, mandarin orange, and a hint of nutmeg, immediately pleasing the first sip. On the palate, it is round, juicy, and silky in texture. The intense, yellow-fruit aroma is accompanied by subtle tart nuances that lend the wine complexity and character. It is full-bodied yet delicately spicy, with a dry finish and a pleasantly lively freshness—a Muscat with depth and elegant length.

An excellent aperitif wine that is equally versatile as a food accompaniment.
