The renowned Familia Torres winery, deeply rooted in Spanish viticulture, interprets the terroir of the Priorat region in a modern and respectful way with this wine. The classification as "Vi de Vila" guarantees the exact origin from Porrera - a place that is known for structurally rich, mineral wines. The vines grow on the typical Llicorella slate soil, which retains heat and gives the grapes enormous concentration and expression. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for 25 months in French and American oak before being sealed with natural cork and bottled. With 14% alcohol by volume and ageing potential until at least 2027, Salmos embodies all the power and elegance of Priorat.

In the glass, the Torres Salmos has a deep, dark ruby red color. The nose reveals a multi-layered aroma of ripe black fruits, liquorice, fine chocolate, cedar wood and a fine smoky and mineral note, which is typical of the slate vineyards of Porrera. On the palate, the wine is powerful and dense, with supple tannins, a fresh, precise acidity and a long, spicy finish. Cassis, plum, graphite and roasted aromas combine to create a concentrated, complex overall impression.
