This fine rum is based on sugar cane honey, which is matured in the high altitudes of Guatemala at over 2,400 metres above sea level.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt is matured in a careful selection of bourbon whiskey and sherry wine casks, including many Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which provide a profound sweetness. A significant proportion of the blend was also matured in French oak barrels that previously contained sweet Moscatel wine, which gives this rum an unrivalled aromatic depth.
