The character is not created with added flavourings but comes from the casks themselves. Specially selected sherry-seasoned American oak casks, whose wood is naturally rich in oak lactones, play the leading role, while bourbon casks are used alongside them to refine the profile further.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs the closing chapter, Inspired by Fresh Coconut takes the collection back to The Macallan Estate and revisits the long-running collaboration with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe packaging follows the coconut theme too. Discarded coconut fibres are worked into the paper of the giftbox, and coconut shells and fibres are turned into charcoal in an emission-free burning process, giving the paper its natural dark colour.
