DESCRIPTION

Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial Magnum is the most spontaneous expression of the Moët & Chandon style, distinguished by its radiant pink colour, its intense fruitiness from the Pinot Meunier grape and the subtlety of the reserve wines that complete its blend.

Rosé Imperial

Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial is characterized by a fruity and floral aroma, slightly spiced up with mint and pepper. It goes well with simple dishes with intense flavours.

The Magnum format is a large 1.5 litres bottle, which represents 2 bottles of champagne or 12 glasses. This large format is ideal for your receptions and special occasions.

Tasting Notes

A radiant colour: A pink colour with amber highlights.

An intense aroma : a lively bouquet of small red summer fruits (strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant), completed by floral nuances (rose, hawthorn) and a hint of pepper.

An expressive palate: The palate is flamboyant, combining intensity and roundness: fleshy and juicy at first, then firm (core), and finally subtly vegetal (mint).

Food pairings

Moët Rosé Impérial goes well with simple, colourful and intense dishes. The important thing is to maintain harmony, accuracy and elegance: lightly grilled red meat, summer vegetables in ratatouille, rock fish or shellfish bisque

Ideal serving temperature : Serve between 9 and 11°C

Technical sheet

Blend : The blend of Rosé Impérial is based on the intensity of Pinot Noir (40 to 50% including 10% red wine), the fruitiness of Pinot Meunier (30 to 40% including 10% red wine) and the finesse of Chardonnay (10 to 20%).

Vinification : Complete, generous and dynamic, Moët & Chandon wines benefit from the know-how of the oenologists in the different stages of the wine-making process. The systematic carrying out of malolactic fermentation naturally ensures a slight reduction in the classic acidity of Champagne wines which can block access to other sensations. The palate is softer. The systematic use of Pinot Meunier in the blend brings its juicy and fleshy texture, drives and enhances the richness of the Chardonnay, and results in wines of beautiful maturity. The maturation process, which lasts about twice as long for each cuvée as the legal period, enriches and softens the wine. A dosage precisely adapted to each cuvée provides the final touch to refine the whole. From the first sip, Moet & Chandon wines offer an abundance of sensations, without barriers to overcome, without austerity.

Characteristics : Refreshing must be gradual so as not to "break" its foam and bouquet. From a discreet to medium attack, the wine develops towards the heart of the mouth, the profile of the wine takes shape in curves, the intensity fluctuates, the fullness is modulated, the perceptions are prolonged and stretched towards a finish that is invariably clean and frank, leaving the palate clean. Moët & Chandon wines reveal this clean profile with each sip. The gradual appearance of various sensations: during the tasting, the wine breathes, the aromas evolve in the glass. Between the first and tenth sip, the wine warms up and opens up to the ambient oxygen. At the same time, the sensitivity of the palate will also change. This will be the moment for the wine to make new organoleptic revelations, to underline the suppleness and roundness of Moët & Chandon wines, always fading in and out.
