The rum is made from sugar cane juice and water, bringing out its special characteristics at a strong 65% vol. Dark raisins and fine spices are added through ageing in sherry barrels, which refines its aroma. As it was distilled in 2017 and matured for six years, it has reached a considerable age for a rum. The rum owes its color exclusively to the influence of the barrel, as it has not been dyed.

As it is a single cask bottling, there are only 282 bottles of this bottling, which means that the number of bottles is strictly limited. In view of this small quantity, it is advisable to snap it up quickly. If the secret of cask 151 is to be revealed, it is helpful to know that the high alcohol content also allows the rum to be diluted with a little water, which changes the taste and releases different aromas.
