Teeling Irish Whiskey Rum Cask impresses with its exceptionally high malt content, making it a rare and special bottling. This characteristic gives the whiskey remarkable depth and complexity. Maturation takes place in two carefully coordinated phases: First, the grain and malt whiskeys mature separately in ex-bourbon casks, maintaining a precise 3:1 ratio in favor of the grain.

This initial maturation period can last up to six years and allows the whiskeys to develop their individual flavor profiles. After this phase, the whiskeys are combined in small batches and undergo a final finish in select American rum casks, giving Teeling Irish Whiskey Rum Cask its unique, complex aromatics that delight both connoisseurs and lovers of exceptional whiskeys.
