The German city of Flensburg used to be one of the rum producers in Europe.
As a port city and part of the Danish kingdom, it was a hub for trade with Caribbean colonies.

The Flensburg Rum Company Barbados & Jamaica Rum is created by the marriage of two completely contrary distillates.
Traditionally produced rum from Barbados is blended with the strong character and high ester content of Jamaican rum, resulting in an extraordinary combination.
Maturation takes place mainly in the Caribbean under tropical climatic conditions.
In Europe, the rum is given a short aftertreatment under continental climate.

Colour: Amber.
Nose: tropical fruit, coconut, pastry, vanilla, wood notes.
Taste: Rich notes, tropical fruit, mangoes, papaya, oak, spices, coconut, chocolate, vanilla.
Finish: Long lasting.
