The Flying Dutchman 3 years old Amarone Cask Special Batch 1 is a Dutch rum from Zuidam Distillers. Pot still distilled and matured for 3 years in Amarone wine casks. This Special Batch 1 was bottled in 2022 at 40% ABV.

Nose: ripe tropical fruit, red fruit like raspberries and cherries, some floral notes, honey and licorice

Palate: a complex combination of typical rum aromas like tropical fruit balanced with chocolate, licorice, dried sultanas and oranges

Finish: medium long and delicate with citrus, red forest fruit, chocolate and honey
