La Maison du Rhum Île Maurice batch#5 is a pure cane juice rum from the Chamarel distillery, located in the southwest of the small Indian Ocean island.

This is a blend of rums distilled in 2014, 30% in iron stills and 70% in columns. The rum benefited from maturation in new French oak barrels, ex-cognac and ex-red wine oak barrels, followed by finishing in oloroso and single malt barrels.

The bottling was carried out in the 2nd half of 2022 and resulted in 8429 copies for the world.
