The Plantations Rums are no longer a mystery. These excellent rums are mainly collected in the Caribbean and also in South America and then brought to France, where they receive their final touch. In Ars in France, the rum is subsequently stored for several months in small discarded oak cognac barrels. This type of aging is called "double aging", this technique was already used in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Plantation Rum matures for 9.5 years in bourbon casks. This is followed by 1.5 years of storage in Ferrand Cask. The finish is completed for 1 year in Red Pineau des Charentes Casks.
