Botafogo White Rum is a harmonious blend from two of the most important rum regions in the Caribbean: the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. and bottled in a 0.7-liter bottle, it combines the lightness and mildness of Dominican rums with the intense, aromatic power of Jamaican pot still rums.

This white rum is made from carefully selected molasses rums, which are distilled in both column stills and pot stills. The result is a clear, fresh and at the same time complex rum that is characterized by its versatility. It has a pleasant balance of fruity, slightly sweet notes and spicy undertones, making it an ideal all-rounder for cocktails.

Tasting notes:

Color: Crystal clear.
Nose: Slightly floral with hints of sugar cane, vanilla and white flowers.
Taste: Mild, soft and fresh with notes of fine sugar, citrus and a hint of tropical fruit.
Finish: Short to medium length, clean and dry with a subtly fruity finish.

Botafogo White Rum is perfect for classic cocktails such as mojito, daiquiri or piña colada. It also cuts an excellent figure in long drinks with lime and soda or as a base for homemade infusions and rum punches. In the kitchen, it can also be used for Caribbean marinades, fruity sorbets or rum-based desserts such as flambéed bananas.
