Edradour 30 Years Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 56% Vol. 0,7l in Wooden case

Edradour, recognized as Scotland's smallest traditional distillery since its foundation around 1825, operates largely using 19th century methods. A unique preservation of the old farmhouse distilling style, Edradour produces 12 casks of whisky a week. Owned since 2002 by Andrew Symington, the founder of Signatory, Edradour has expanded its range to include new bottlings, including the peaty malts under the Ballechin name.

A 30-year-old single malt from the Highland distillery Edradour, characterized by its viscous and syrupy consistency, forms the first batch of what will hopefully be an extensive series.

It was matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt. Signatory, the owner of Edradour, is renowned for its selection of excellent sherry casks, which are used for both Edradour bottlings and its independent editions. A particularly high-quality cask was selected for this first batch of 30-year-old whisky.

This edition is limited to 562 bottles.
