Mendez Medium Sherry 15% Vol. is produced by Bodegas Williams & Humbert. The company was founded in Jerez in 1877 by the English Alexander Williams and Arthur Humbert. Williams & Humbert are also allowed to own the winery " Las Conchas", a 220 hectare sherry area.

The grapes come from the famous "Jerez Superior", a sherry triangle between Jerez, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and Puerto de Santa Maria. The processing and bottling takes place in Jerez.

The cheese is matured according to the Solera and Criadera method with a maturation period of 3 years.

Tasting notes:

Amber in a jar. In the nose a delicate bouquet reminiscent of nuts. Very mild and full-bodied taste. In the finish harmonious and long lasting.

Grape variety: Palomino.
Residual sugar: 45 g/l.
Acidity: 4.0 g/l.
Serving temperature: 4 - 8 °C.

Goes well with smoked ham and spicy cheese.
