Traditionally, Sierra Tequila Reposado is distilled twice in copper pot stills. Reposado is the most popular Tequila quality among Mexicans. The freshness and irresistible fruitiness of Sierra Tequila Reposado are characterised by gentle notes of vanilla and caramel, but also by the aromas of fragrant herbs. This variety of aromas, which has won many international awards, gives Sierra Tequila Reposado a special complexity.

Sierra Tequila comes from the Destilería Sierra, situated on a historical Hacienda in Guadalajara, the capital of Tequila. It is the home of Sierra Tequila, which has won many top awards. In the tradition of his forefathers, the handed-down art of distilling and the third-generation master distiller’s passion both characterise the unique, fruity flavour of every bottle of Sierra Tequila. After distillation, Sierra Tequila Reposado rests for nine months in toasted oak casks. This gives it its slightly sweet, golden colour and its aromatic complexity. Depending on the category of Tequila, it may only be kept in casks of a certain size: a Reposado Tequila for example may only be kept in casks with a maximum volume of 700 l.
