Stefanshof is known not only for breeding Lippizaner horses, but also for its fine wines. Viticulture has been practiced on the farm since 1890.
Today, the vineyards cover 84 hectares. Since 1998, the Stefanshof has been under the management of Stefan Haller.

Since his heart bled every time he saw that the aromatic substances escape with the CO² during alcoholic fermentation, he developed a special fermentation technique. The so-called berry fermentation method.

The healthy grapes, harvested by hand, are carefully placed in a fermentation tank.
In this process, the alcoholic fermentation begins intercellularly in the healthy berry skin. In other methods, this only begins in the liquid must of the pressed berries.
During a fermentation process lasting about 3 weeks, an exceptionally fruity, multi-faceted variety of aromas and flavors develops in the berry.

Deep dark ruby red in the glass. Aromatic, lively and fresh on the nose and palate. Long lasting with fine acidity on the finish.
