Faustino VII Rioja 0,75l

The red wine from the D.O. La Rioja produced by the Faustino winery. It is made using only Tempranillo grapes, the most common grape of the region.

The grapes used to make Faustino VII come from old vines that are over 40 years old. The plots from which the grapes are taken are carefully selected.

After the grapes have been transported to the winery, the vinification and production of Faustino VIII begins. The various processes are performed following the great wine tradition of La Rioja, one of the most famous wine producing areas in the world. Traditional methods are used during these processes.

Before being bottled and marketed, Faustino VIII is aged for around 10 months in american oak barrels.  

Testing notes

Clean, bright, cherry red colour developing to maroon. Pleasant on the nose, ripe red fruits touch. Balanced. Elegant and fresh, fruity. 
Medium finish. Any kind of meat. It matches with grilled or fried potatoes, mushrooms or ham. Some tasty or oily fish such as tuna, cod. 

Medium-aged cheese and berry dessert. Rice and all kind of pasta. 

Controlled fermentation at 28ºC D.O.C.a. Rioja 75 cl.

Acidity: 5,30 g/l.
Closure: Cork.
