Originating from Portugal’s celebrated Douro Valley region, Ruby Port is typically more youthful than other Port styles with a vibrant and fruit-forward profile.

Ageing in hogsheads that previously held this full-bodied fortified wine has resulted in pronounced forest fruit qualities alongside The GlenAllachie’s heather honey DNA.

Specially selected for Europe, this Wood Collection bottling is presented at 48% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique character to shine through.

Without the addition of colour and without chill filtering, the Single Malt Whisky is then bottled at 48%.

Taste Profile

Aroma 

Intense aromas of mocha, rosehip and syrupy sweetness, followed by butterscotch, almonds and cooked pear.

Nose

Orange zest, apricots and crystalised red berries, with notes of ginger, heather honey and rich dark chocolate.

Taste

Raspberry coulis, crystalised honeycomb and red berry ice cream, followed by cinnamon, candied cherries and mocha.
