The maturation plan draws on a deliberate selection of sherry casks. One portion of the whisky first matured in rejuvenated refill sherry butts and then received a finish in first fill Oloroso sherry butts, while other components spent their entire maturation in first fill Oloroso sherry barriques. The result brings together Islay smoke and coastal notes with dark fruit, citrus and a marked sherry sweetness.

Bottled at cask strength, this expression delivers its blend of smoke, fruit and Oloroso character in concentrated form. It is not chill-filtered and contains no added colouring, so the whisky keeps its natural colour and full character. A bold, sherry-led choice for lovers of smoky Islay malts.
