Amázzoni Gin Maniuara is the smoothest and most accessible variant in the award-winning gin series from the Brazilian Amázzoni Destilaria. With an alcohol content of 38% vol., this distilled gin is aimed at connoisseurs who appreciate a particularly mild, yet aromatically complex gin with clear origins and artisanal standards. Like all of the brand's gins, Maniuara is produced by hand in the heart of Brazil in the country's first pure gin distillery.

The recipe is based on the classic Amázzoni profile and comprises eleven selected botanicals, including juniper berries, açai, cocoa, cinnamon, bay leaves, lemon peel, coriander and other regional plants from the Amazon region. Reducing the alcohol content creates a particularly smooth, balanced gin with a fresh, floral and tropical-spicy character that is ideal for light drinks and summer cocktails.

The name "Maniuara" is a tribute to a traditional medicinal plant ritual of indigenous Amazonian peoples - a further expression of the deep connection to Brazilian nature and culture that makes every Amázzoni gin unique. 

Tasting notes:

Nose: Light and fresh with citrus notes, green herbs, bay leaf, juniper and a hint of cocoa and cinnamon.
Taste: Mild, floral and tropical-spicy with a slight sweetness, lemon zest, açai fruit, coriander and gentle spice.
Finish: Soft and pleasantly round with fresh clarity, a delicate finish and floral lightness.

Amázzoni Maniuara is perfect for light, summery long drinks - e.g. as a gin and tonic with floral or Mediterranean tonic water, garnished with lemon zest, basil or fresh berries. It also shows its elegant versatility in cocktails such as a gin fizz, clover club or gin spritz.
