AnCnoc Vintage 2009 Highland Single Malt Limited Edition 2021 46% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Eastern Highlands-based distillery Knockdhu (Gaelic for 'little black hill Cnoc Dubh') is not necessarily a household name even to connoisseurs.
This may be due to the distillery’s unexciting history. Since 1894, the distillery has been more or less under the same ownership.
Since InverHouse took over the distillery in 1989, there has been a bit of movement in the history of Knockdhu again.
At the request of Justerini & Brooks the 12 year old Knockdhu was renamed AnCnoc to avoid confusion with J&B’s Knockando.
By the way, AnCnoc is pronounced [a-nock].

The storage takes place in Spanish First Fill oak barrels and in former American oak barrels.

The single malt is bottled without additional colorants and without cold filtration.

Colour: Rich gold.
Nose: Soft, hints of honey, toffee, green apples, citrus.
Taste: Sweet, honey aromas, citrus notes, dark chocolate, butterscotch.
Finish: Long lasting, soft.
