Ballykeefe Sloe Gin Limited Edition 29,1% Vol. 0,5l

Steeped in folklore there are many secrets to be observed in the recipe and method of making this Sloe Gin. 

Based on Ballykeefe’s multiple award-winning Extra Dry Irish Gin, it is fermented for seven months in the fruit of the blackthorns which give it a special flavour and colour. 

A Gold Medal Winner at the 2019 World Liqueur Awards, this is an exceptionally versatile spirit which which can be served neat and warm in winter or served over ice in summer.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Deep plum scents, complex botanical notes, cinnamon spice and blackcurrant.

Palate: Viscous and smooth mouth feel, stoned fruit and astringent blackthorn balance with syrupy cassis flavours, warming and spicy finish all the way down.

Perfect Serve

Copa glass, 35.5ml of Ballykeefe Sloe Gin in summer, add ice and top with 100ml of cold Prosecco, or in winter serve hot and neat with cloves.
