Produced by Ron Barceló, this premium rum from the Dominican Republic is made from the nectar of the finest sugar cane grown in Barceló's own sugar cane fields. 

The basis is formed by carefully selected reserves of particularly valuable rums, which are first matured in oak barrels with different degrees of toasting, precisely selected by experienced master coopers. Bottled at 43% and supplied in a gift box, this bottling presents itself as an expressive, elegant rare blends rum.

After the composition of the final blend, the Barceló Imperial Mizunara Cask is given an additional maturation phase in new barrels made from Japanese Mizunara oak, one of the rarest and noblest types of oak in the world. 

This unusual type of cask gives the rum its distinctive depth, pronounced woody aroma and unique taste profile. Stylistically, this bottling is intense and woody, yet harmonious and balanced at the same time.
