Bruichladdich MICRO-PROVENANCE Single Cask #0715 Islay Single Malt 57,5% Vol. 0,7l

This single cask release comes from the Micro-Provenance Series at Bruichladdich on Islay, a project that explores how individual factors shape the character of a single malt. These include barley variety, growing region, climate, humidity, distillation, cask type, maturation period and even the place where the cask is stored.

Cask #0715 was filled with spirit made from Odyssey barley, distilled on 13 May 2014. It then matured for eleven years in a single first-fill bourbon cask. The cask rested in Warehouse WHSC4 at position 28E, so even its exact location is part of the provenance story. It was bottled on 30 March 2026 at a cask-strength 57.5% ABV, and only 246 bottles were filled from this one cask.

The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, so its colour and texture come directly from the spirit, the cask and the time spent maturing. Presented in a 0.7-litre bottle, it is an authentic look at what a single Bruichladdich cask can express, and a good fit for collectors and lovers of Islay single malt.
