Vecchioflorio Marsala Superiore DOLCE is made from grapes grown in Marsala. The unique microclimate in the DOC Marsala and the cool and humid cellars in which the wine matures, make this Vecchioflorio very special. For 30 months this wine remains in oak barrels.
Tasting notes:
Strong amber in the glass. On the nose notes of bitter almonds and raisins. In the mouth notes of raisins, spices and vanilla. Long lasting in the finish.
Grape varieties: Grillo, Cataratto.
Aging: 30 months in old oak barrels.
Serving temperature: 8-10 °C.
This dessert wine goes very well with pastries and spicy cheeses.
