Clydeside 8 Years Old Small Batch is a milestone release for the Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow: it is the distillery's first single malt to carry an official age statement. This Lowland Scotch single malt is made from 100% Scottish barley and clear water from Loch Katrine, then matured for a full eight years in Oloroso sherry casks.

The sherry casks add darker, sweet and spicy facets to the distillery's fruity house style. Bottled at a robust batch strength of 55.5% ABV, it is noticeably more intense than the distillery's standard expressions, while the fruity character remains a key part of its identity.

The whisky is bottled in natural colour and without chill-filtration, which helps preserve its texture and cask character. Only 350 cases of this bottling are available worldwide, underlining its place in the distillery's young age-statement range. The 0.7 l bottle comes in a giftbox.
