The Domaines Francis Abécassis distillery is located in Claix, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. Cognac has been recognized there as a single estate since the late 1990s.
The distillery owns a vineyard of 280 hectares located in the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois regions. The Leyrat brand is produced by Domaines Francis Abécassis.

The Leyrat Vintage 2006 Single Estate Cognac blends exclusive eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois region.
