The Malt Whisky Collection contains three malts we bottle year-round. They cover the spectrum of malt whisky styles you find in Scotland, each revealing its own distinctive story. 

This pack contains miniatures of The Peat Monster, The Spice Tree, and The Story of the Spaniard.

The set contains:

• 1x Compass Box THE PEAT MONSTER Blended Malt 46% Vol. 0,05 l
  Over the years, The Peat Monster has been able to evolve in appearance and character. Compass Box decided it was time for a mutation again.
  A whisky for lovers of complex, multi-layered peat whiskies.
  This blended malt is a marriage of two malts from Islay.
  Colour: Light gold.
  Nose: Intense, slightly fruity, malt.
  Taste: Complex, balanced, peat, smoke, hint of fruit.
  Finish: Long lasting, fruity malt.
  A fantastic digestif for the evening as well as a wonderful companion to blue cheese.
• 1x Compass Box SPICE TREE Blended Malt 46% Vol. 0,05 l
  At Compass Box «Spice Tree» is a vatted Highland malt full of spice flavors. The whiskies for Spice Tree come only from distilleries in the northern Highlands, mainly from the village of Brora. The first maturation takes place in a mix of first-fill and refill American oak casks. The second maturation uses heavily toasted French oak barrel ends, resulting in a distinct flavor profile due to the heavy toasting. The second maturation lasts two years.
  All bottlings of Compass Box are not chill-filtered and without colorants.
  Colour: Gold.
  Nose: cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg.
  Taste: Rich, intense, spicy, sweet, oak, vanilla.
  Finish: Long lasting.
• 1x Compass Box THE SPANIARD Blended Malt 43% Vol. 0,05 l
  The story of this blended malt begins on a trip to the south of Spain when John Glaser, 'whiskymaker' of Compass Box, learned a lot about the local sherry wines.
  Years later, when he discovered the signature Scotch whisky, sherry became an issue again, as many whiskies receive a finish in their casks.
  The Compass Box THE STORY OF THE SPANIARD is a blend of malt whiskies that are aged in sherry casks.
  All bottlings of Compass Box are not chill-filtered and without colorants. (automated translation)

  Nose: Spicy, sweet, of ripe fruit, sherry, dried fruit.
  Taste: Soft, of ripe pears, lemon peel.
  Finish: Long lasting.
