This bottling used to be part of Elsburn’s core range, but due to the constant demand, they had to take the product out of the standard range again, as it was not possible to produce this bottling indefinitely.
In the meantime, you can look forward to the Wayfare again, limited and as a small batch, but still.

The Wayfare is 4 ½ to 9 years old and consists of 95% regular malt and 5% smoked «woodsmoked» malt.
A blend of 50% Sherry Hogsheads and 50% Port, Marsala, Malaga, and GrandCru Claret Hogsheads, with an average Angel’s Share of (in total) over 20%, is the focus.

Limited to 2,746 bottles worldwide.

Colour: Bright amber.
Nose: Luscious fruit cukes, sultanas, notes of sweet berries, speculoos, light caramel cream, oak, hints of salt, pecans, mocha.
Taste: Strong, velvety, sultana biscuits, meringue, sweet grapes, candied fruits, oak, light chocolate, vanilla, caramel, spices.
Finish: Long lasting, complex.
