Grave Digger Tunes of War is a Single Malt Whisky from the St. Kilian distillery, bottled in honor of the German heavy metal band Grave Digger, founded in 1980.

Many of the band's albums pay homage to Scottish history. 
The limited edition malt was distilled from heavily peated barley malt (54 ppm) from the Scottish Highlands before being matured in 225 liter ex-red wine casks.

Tasting notes

Color: Copper.
Nose: Red grapes, raspberries and strawberries surrounded by sweet peat smoke and roasted bacon, rounded off by spicy oak.
Taste: Creamy and sweet with notes of red grapes, apples and peaches, accompanied by warm toasty smoke.
Finish: Long lasting with sweet fruit, spicy oak and fine smoke.
