Hacienda De Xalpa Tequila Añejo is an expressive, matured premium tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave, which stands for the highest quality and traditional Mexican distilling skills. Produced with passion and care, this bottling combines the finest raw materials with many years of maturation - reflecting the depth and elegance that a true añejo tequila should offer.

Maturation takes place over a period of 12 to 36 months in selected 220-litre white oak barrels, giving the tequila its warm, complex structure and characteristic amber color. This long barrel ageing not only gives the distillate its intense aroma, but also a harmonious balance between fruity freshness, fine woody notes and soft sweetness.

With an alcohol content of 38% vol., the Añejo is pleasantly accessible and at the same time profound. The velvety texture, paired with a smooth and balanced taste profile, ensures a soft mouthfeel and a long, elegant finish. 

Tasting notes:

Color: Rich amber.
Nose: Expressive with vanilla, soft oak, fresh tobacco and ripe apples.
Taste: Soft, round and balanced with warm sweetness and a harmonious woody note.
Finish: Very long, velvety and elegant with lingering depth.

Excellent with dark chocolate, roasted nuts or as an accompaniment to a mild cigar. Also ideal as a digestif after a high-quality meal or for relaxed enjoyment in good company.
