CHARACTER

Fragile fruit meets filigree texture. In between and beneath are multiple layers that are successively revealed. St. Laurent is a wine of nuances; its strengths are found in details. It is adverse to intrusiveness and seeks attention. Because behind all that elegance there are blossoms, hay, herbs and berries that delight the nose and palate. Playful and carefree lightness pairs with linear depth and expressive power.

ORIGIN

The grapes for this wine stem from both sides of the Neusiedler See (Lake Neusiedl). On the one side from the Rosenberg vineyard, an east facing slope of the Leithaberg (Leitha Mountains) in Breitenbrunn that is intensely marked by mica-schist. On the other side, from vineyards on the gravelly Parndorfer Platte (Parndorfer Plain) and the humus-rich Heideboden on the east side of the Neusiedler See (Lake Neusiedl).

Bottled with conscientious handcraft and great care throughout the entire life cycle.

Grape variety: 100% St. Laurent.
Aging: 35 months in used oak barrels.
Residual sugar: 1,2 g/l.
Acidity: 5.4 g/l.
Bottled: End of November 2021.
Closure: Glass stopper.
Drinking temperature: 16-18°C.
