Founded in Newry, Co. Down in 1817, Matt. D’Arcy & Co. Ltd. were among the finest producers of Irish Whiskey in the northern part of Ireland.

Alongside brands like Old Comber and Dunville’s Irish Whiskey, throughout the 1800s Matt. D’Arcy helped build an Irish whiskey industry that was the envy of the world.

The Echlinville Distillery are now guardians of this fine old Irish whiskey. Also home to Dunville’s and Old Comber, Echlinville is proud to bring together three of Ireland’s most historic ‘lost’ whiskey brands, giving them their rightful place at the forefront of Ireland’s whiskey renaissance.

Matt. D'arcy 10 Years Old Blended Irish Whiskey Limited Edition 

The first blended Irish Whiskey from the historic Matt D’Arcy Whiskey brand for more than a century. A blend of 10-year-old grain whiskey and 17 year old Irish single malt. Rich on the palate with plenty dried fruit sweetness with just a touch of oak.

Tasting notes

Colour: Gold.

Nose: Experience citrus and fruity layers of conserve sweetness and spice.

Palate: Discover rich, sweet dried fruit spiciness with notes of barley sugar, malt and a little oak.

Finish: Long lasting.
