Yoichi Distillery preserves traditional production techniques, including the use of coal-fired pot stills, while drawing inspiration from modern influences. This results in the creation of some of the strongest and peatiest Japanese whiskies.

This characterful Nikka 10 Years Old Yoichi single malt whisky is distilled at the Yoichi Distillery, located in the small port town of Yoichi on Hokkaido, the birthplace of the Nikka brand, and is matured for 10 years in oak casks. The conditions on the island are very reminiscent of Scotland: a harsh climate, clear mountain lakes and the availability of peat and barley.
