The Paul Kerschbaum winery is located in the Burgenland region, where the Blaufränkisch grape variety is cultivated. Its goal is to produce powerful, long-lasting wines with a touch of wood. 

Blaufränkisch is the classic among Horitschon red wines. It is not for nothing that the area is also called Blaufränkischland.

Tasting notes:

Dark ruby garnet with violet reflections in the glass. On the nose, delicate notes of nougat and fruity hints. On the palate fruity of plums, orange zest, hints of blackberries, herbal notes. Long lasting on the finish.

Closure: screw cap.
Storage potential: 3 years.
Serving temperature: 16-18 °C.

Excellent with pasta, grilled dishes and cheese variations.
