This rum is produced at the Licorera Canuto Distillery, a family-run distillery in the Ecuadorian Andes. The high altitude, the pure spring water, and the climate at over 2,000 meters above sea level ensure a particularly slow maturation process and a pronounced concentration of aromas.

Ron Canuto is distilled from pure sugarcane molasses and then matures for at least seven years in select ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak. This maturation gives it depth, structure, and a delicate interplay of sweetness, spice, and fruitiness. With an alcohol content of 40% ABV, this rum is exceptionally well-balanced – ideal for enjoying neat, but also as a high-quality base for sophisticated cocktails.
