Roner Holler Sambo Hugo 17% Vol. 0,7l

Roner Holler Sambo Hugo is an elderflower liqueur at 17% ABV, presented in a 0.7-litre bottle. It is made by the Roner Distillery in South Tyrol, a long-established producer regarded as one of Italy's most award-winning distilleries, known for pairing regional ingredients with artisanal distilling.

The liqueur follows an in-house recipe inspired by an old Alpine custom: for generations, South Tyroleans have turned fragrant spring elderflowers into aromatic syrup. Roner reimagines that tradition as a refined liqueur, making it a natural base for the Hugo, a drink that also comes from South Tyrol.

With its intense elderflower aroma and fresh fruitiness, it works well as an aperitif and in a wide range of summer cocktails. It is especially popular in a classic Hugo with Prosecco, sparkling water and fresh mint, but it is equally at home in spritzers or served neat. Chilled to about 5 °C, its fresh, floral character comes through at its best.

Tasting Note

A delicately fragrant elderflower bouquet with fruity accents and a harmonious sweetness. The palate is full-bodied, fresh and well balanced, leading to a pleasantly lingering finish.
