Tamnavulin is a whiskey distillery in Scotland that has only existed with this name since the year 2000.
Tamnavulin is Gaelic and means something like "mill on the hill" or "mill in the mountains".
The distillery was opened in 1966 and closed again in 1995.
After a name change and some renovation work, the distillery was allowed to reopen its doors in 2007. Today, typical and characterful Speyside whisky is produced here.

The Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Whisky matures in American white oak casks and then receives its finish in Sauvignon Blanc white wine casks.

Tasting notes:

Color: amber.
Nose: Green juicy apples, bananas, ripe honeydew melon, peach, lemon, jasmine, vanilla, coconut cream.
Taste: Fruity, lime, grapefruit, apple pie, notes of cinnamon, lemon bisque.
Finish: Country persistent.
