STK GRAND-CRU

Steep vineyard on a sea level of 330 - 490 m with an exposition facing South to Southwest. 15 million years ago the Paratethys Ocean covered South Styria and is remembered by majestic coralline limestone reef. The “Zieregg” vineyard is highly influenced by this distinctive sub soil. It goes without saying that the wines produced on this beautiful site get characteristics from its past as well. Expect profound and elegant wines with a whole lot of structure, distinctiveness and great aging potential.

Maturation: Large oak barrels.
Soil: Coral limestone, limestone weathered rock.
Residual sugar: 1,1 g/l.
Acidity: 6,2 g/l.
