This single malt Scotch whisky is matured over 15 years in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks carefully selected by The Macallan's Master Distillers. The long maturation in these high-quality casks gives it its deep color and complex, multi-layered aroma.

At 43% vol., the Macallan 15 Years Color Collection impresses with its elegance, depth and balance. It combines the typical Macallan notes of dried fruit, vanilla and spices with fresh citrus notes and a gentle wood spice. It is presented in an elegant 0.7 l bottle with a gift box, which stylishly underlines the artistic concept of the Colour Collection. 

Tasting notes:

Color: Natural gold with warm amber.
Nose: Dried fruit, raisins, sweet oak, orange peel and a fine spiciness.
Taste: Round and complex with sherry sweetness, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and light wood.
Finish: Long and velvety with notes of dried fruit, fine oak and mild spice.

The Macallan 15 Years Old Colour Collection is best enjoyed neat in a nosing glass, possibly with a drop of water to open up the aromas.
