Tomintoul Caribbean Rum Cask Finish

Master Distiller Robert Fleming created seven small batch bottlings by selecting casks of Tomintoul single malt, aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks, which are then married and finished in hand-selected casks previously containing Caribbean Rum. This has led to a beautiful new series of Tomintoul Cask Finishes, of which this small batch bottling is a part.

Tasting Notes:  

Nose: Fresh and bright with aromas of raspberry blossom, coconut oil, parma violets and custard filled buns.
Taste: Layers of muscovado sugar, sweet eclairs and honeycomb toffee bound with speculoos, nougat and coconut cream.
Finish: Sweet butterscotch and chocolate eclairs fade into a warming cake spice.
