Bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, this bottling belongs to the special Maritime Release series, which consists of four different single malt whiskeys. The distinctive bottle shape is reminiscent of historic floating spheres, once used to buoyancy fishing nets, reflecting the distillery's close connection to the Irish coast.

This triple-distilled single malt Irish whiskey is initially matured in carefully selected first-fill bourbon barrels before receiving its characteristic finish in ruby ​​port casks from the Douro Valley, specifically Quinta da Boeira port casks. This finishing process lends the whiskey additional depth and elegant fruit and berry notes that blend harmoniously with vanilla, subtle spices, and the sweetness of the bourbon cask maturation.
