Domenis 1898 RUTA Grappa 40% Vol. 0,5l

This grappa comes from organic farming and is made from both red and white grapes - flavoured with rue. 

Grappa alla Ruta is distilled with direct steam in eight copper kettles. It is matured for about a year in stainless steel tanks. 

The distillate is then flavoured with rue and bottled with a branch of the popular plant. 

The rue is a spice plant and still belongs to the herbal remedies today, this type of rue is mainly found in southern Europe and can be found in stony places with strong sun exposure.

Tasting notes:

• Colour: Bright gold. 
• Nose: clean, characteristic rue notes, pleasant aromas. 
• Taste: Intense rue. 
• Finish: Long lasting.
