Domenis 1898 STORICA RISERVA Grappa 50% Vol. 1,5l

The distillation of Storica Riserva is carried out with direct steam in a discontinuous distillation flask with eight copper boilers.

At low temperature (a little over 100°C) the steam is introduced directly at the base of the still, allowing the extraction of volatile components without damaging them and their aromatic components.

After a careful selection of the proportions to be used, the ageing process is initiated in old oak barrels, which gives the grappa its characteristic amber colour.

Finally, the blending is made from grappas aged for at least 18 months, some of which have been matured for a few years and others for several years in wooden barrels. The grappa then continues to mature in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes:

• Colour: Bright amber.
• Nose: fine, varied, with hints of oak.
• Taste: Intense, elegant.
• Finish: Long lasting.
