Matsui Whisky THE KURAYOSHI Pure Malt Sherry Cask is a balanced Japanese whisky composition consisting of finely balanced malt whiskies. This pure malt is bottled by the Kurayoshi Distillery, which operates under the umbrella of Matsui Shuzo - a traditional company from Tottori Prefecture. The distillery is picturesquely situated at the foot of Mount Daisen and uses soft spring water from the Japanese mountains, which contributes to the purity and clarity of the whisky.

The Kurayoshi Sherry Cask is matured in carefully selected former sherry casks, which gives it its complex structure and typical notes of dried fruit, dark wood and spicy accents. As a "pure malt", it is a blend of exclusively malt whiskies, which do not necessarily have to come from a single distillery.
