Santa Maria Moscatel Limited Edition is aged for twenty months in 225-liter French oak Moscatel barrels. These barrels come from Favaios, one of the world's most renowned Moscatel regions in Portugal, and were previously used to store white and Moscatel wine. The special maturation gives the rum a remarkable depth and a complex aroma profile that perfectly accentuates the fine Moscatel notes.
