Tenuta San Guido was the creator of the first world-class Made in Italy wine "brand" and of a category of wines, the so-called Supertuscans , which have rewritten the Italian (and international) wine history of the last 30 years. The winery's production is limited to just 3 labels, all of which are mind-boggling.

“ Sassicaia ” is, without fear of denial, the most famous Italian label on the planet, a legendary wine that includes legions of fans and enthusiasts in any latitude and longitude willing to invest dizzying sums to grab one of these dream bottles.

The “ Guidalberto ” and “ Le Difese ” are instead great wines at a decidedly lower price. It would not be correct to define them as cheaper versions of Sassicaia, because they enjoy their own light and unique characteristics, but without a doubt they are the starting point for understanding the greatness and finesse of a producer capable of enchanting the world with his extraordinary bottles.

Aging : 12 months in barrique + 3 months in bottle
