CASASTOS Old Tom Gin Small Batch Pomegranate 2020 40% Vol. 0,5l

CASASTOS Old Tom Gin Small Batch Pomegranate is a fruit-forward take on the Old Tom style, pairing time-honoured gin-making with contemporary flavour ideas. It is made in small batches and bottled as a 2020 vintage release, setting it well apart from classic London Dry gins.

The botanical line-up combines woody juniper, coriander, elderflower and blackberry leaves with strawberries, raspberries and, most prominently, fresh, ripe and slightly tart pomegranates. The gentle fruity sweetness typical of an Old Tom is anchored by a juniper backbone that lends the gin depth and balance.

Bottled at 40% ABV in a 0.5-litre format, this is a distinctive gin in both flavour and appearance, and a natural choice for creative serves and cocktails.

Tasting Note

Fruity and gently sweet, with fresh, ripe and slightly tart pomegranate alongside strawberry and raspberry. Woody juniper provides a steady base, giving the fruit depth and balance.
