The Blutwurz herbal liqueur is produced in the Penninger distillery. 

The family business has been around for 115 years. 

"Blutwurz" is synonymous with Bavaria. 

No other liqueur is so well known in the Free State of Bavaria in Germany. 

The liqueur is made from the Blutwurz root. 

Tasting notes:

• Colour: Red-brown. 
• Nose: Intense, herbs. 
• Taste: Warming, slightly bitter. 
• Finish: Long lasting. 

The Blutwurz herbal liqueur is suitable for mixing cocktails and long drinks, but it can also be drunk with Russian Wildberry and lemon juice.
