St. Kilian EX MUGI SHOCHU Single Malt Whisky 55,5% Vol. 0,5l in Giftbox

This single malt from the German distillery St. Kilian Distillers is a cask-strength bottling with a distinctive profile, shaped by an unusual maturation. The whisky rests in carefully chosen ex-Mugi Shochu casks, which previously held Japanese barley shochu. This rare cask type gives the spirit a character of its own and sets it apart from more conventional releases.

It is made using traditional methods from high-quality barley malt and distilled in pot stills. Maturation in the shochu casks then adds further layers to the spirit.

Bottled at a robust 55.5% ABV as a cask-strength expression, it keeps its full intensity. The 0.5 l bottle comes in a high-quality giftbox that reflects the special nature of this limited-edition release, making it a fitting choice for collectors and as a gift.
